1.  What is the setting? How do you know?
2. Who is the protagonist? How do you know?
3. Who is the antagonist? How do you know?
4. Who is the main conflict between? Why are they in conflict?

• Answer the questions on the short story using the following outline for a paragraph:
• 1st sentence: Echo and answer the question
• 2nd and 3rd sentence: Evidence from the text. What part of the text led you to your answer.
• 4th sentence: Explain how that evidence supports sentence 1
